Minding Your Business: Profits That Restore the Planet
Horst M. Rechelbacher, Intelligent Nutrients
Horst Rechelbacher’s thinking is a departure from the stale corporate boardroom and bottom-line profit syndrome. He points to the current climate of shortsightedness in businesses today, and the current epidemic of choosing short-term profits at an unacceptable long-term price. Unfortunately, the bills are now coming due all around us. He explains that seeing the opportunity within the crises requires a shift in consciousness—and the consumer will drive this innovation as they continue to shift their purchasing power to eco-consumerism. Quoting Einstein, Rechelbacher insists that, “No problem is solved by the same state of consciousness that created the problem.”
